We are taking Isaac to his first concert on November 6!!! We will have artist section seats to see David Crowder & the band. Can you say "Excited"?! The concert is at our church which seats about 5,000. It will be great memories to share with our oldest.

How exciting!! I'm so glad you posted this. I'm definitely going to have to talk to my husband about going. Very cool.
Hey, haven't heard from you for a while. Just wanted to say hello and I hope Isaac enjoys his first concert! Unfortunately, we're still in the fields, so there will be no outings for our family for a while.

The concert was good. I must be getting older however, as it was very, very loud... especially the opening band (didn't much care for them).
Overall it was a good experience. If I were to do it again, I'd do it a bit differently. We had purchased the most expensive tickets to be up front. However, after the opening band, all the college students and such came up front and it was standing crowd only within the first 10 rows. We were not able to see if stayed seated, so too ended up standing during the whole concert. Next time, I'd buy the cheaper seats and watch from afar.
We too are spoiled with our wonderful worship group each Sunday, that does just as good a job and it feels much more worshipful (is that a word?)
Isaac enjoyed it and thanked us repeatedly.
